What Parents Say
Shout out to the Preschool 1 teachers who have come in the middle of the school year and have just loved on our kids! They have done a wonderful job of teaching and planning fun activities for our children over this holiday season. We love you!
Susana & Abener B.
I just wanted to say thank you to Mrs. Marcy and Mrs. Christina for making Miles a birthday card today. He loved it! They are the best and we are so happy to be a part of the Open Arms family.

We couldn't be happier with our choice to go with Open Arms for our daycare. After touring many facilities in the area, it was Open Arms staff that made us feel comfortable and at home. We loved everyone we met on our tour and we especially took to Infant Room 2. I trust everyone at Open Arms and would recommend the infant care to all of my friends and family.

We’d love to share with you all about Open Arms Lutheran Child Development Center! Tours are a great way to get to know our staff and learn more about our childcare, early childhood education, and Pre-K options. We also look forward to getting to know you and your child!
At Open Arms we utilize the One In Christ early childhood curriculum throughout the child’s day and into all areas of development. Children will explore God’s world as they develop math and science skills, thinking processes, learn to express themselves, develop listening and speaking skills, create art and develop their artistic potential, and develop their social skills.
Children learn through play, and at Open Arms we offer many opportunities to discover new interests and develop new skills, both inside and outside of the classroom. Enrichment classes for Open Arms students include cooking, soccer, dance, Playball, theatrics, and more.
The Lutheran Church of the Ascension, located right here on the Open Arms campus, is a Christ-centered, liturgical church that seeks to know God and make Him known in the Atlanta community and beyond. Open Arms families are always welcome to join Ascension for worship! Check out www.Ascension-LCMS.com to learn more.
